Garage-soul living legends The Sonics are back with their first new album since 1967. This Is The Sonics dropped in March via their own imprint, Revox and features all original members: Gerry Roslie, Larry Parypa, and Rob Lind. The original trio is joined by Freddie Dennis (the Kingsmen/Liverpool Five) and Dusty Watson (Dick Dale/Agent Orange) and the new album was produced by Jim Diamond (White Stripes, Dirtbombs).  The band will be headlining The Regent in downtown Los Angeles on Saturday, May 9th.
