A spoonful of sugar laced with just a smidge of glitter and a hefty dose of caffeine, Chaos Chaos channel all the energy their name insinuates to produce infectious, bubbly music and eye catching music videos. Most recently, the band has pieced together an eccentric, playful music new single, “Armed and Dangerous.”
Sisters Asya and Chloe Saavedra came fully prepared to reel us in with glittery synth beats, inconspicuously disco harmonies and flowery lyrics. “Armed and Dangerous” is the perfect amalgamation of all the perfectly sweet bits that make up good pop and electro music. It’s upbeat and quick with light and playful lyrics that echo carefully calculated synth sounds.

While Chaos Chaos remain relatively under the radar, their previous work includes creating tracks for Rick and Morty and past bands that toured with the likes of Pearl Jam, Death Cab for Cutie and Cat Power. Separately both sisters have small musical projects including scoring the videogame Trover Saves The Universe.
Listening to their discography would be to take a trip through varying genres of music as Chaos Chaos like to stay musically inconspicuous with their sound.
The pair currently reside in Los Angeles, but their background is as colorful as their music, having lived in Seattle, Sweden and New York. In addition to being music chameleons, the pair hone feminist ideals that interlace with all they do.
Chaos Chaos has an upcoming LP and a performance tonight (May 10) at the Hi Hat in Los Angeles’ historic Highland Park. The band will perform with Worn-Tin. Grab tickets here!
