
And yet another fabulous free summer concerts series in Los Angeles coming your way! The Skirball Cultural Center has revealed the lineup for their 23 annual free summertime concert series, SUNSET CONCERTS!
This year’s SUNSET CONCERTS at the Skirball will include performances by the following acts:
July 18 — Gaby Moreno with DJ set by Mamabear of dublab at 6:30 pm
July 25 — RÃo Mira in their California debut with DJ set by REYES of Trópico de Nopal at 6:30 pm
August 1 — The Klezmatics with DJ set by Maral of dublab at 6:30 pm
August 8 — Cha Wa with DJ set by Dr. Fuzzy at 6:30 pm
August 15 — Tamar Ilana & Ventanas in their Los Angeles debut with DJ set by Glenn Red of Afro Funké and La Junta at 6:30 pm
August 22 — Josef Leimberg with DJ set by Novena Carmel of KCRW at 6:30 pm
The annual outdoor summer concerts series is one of our favorites that we look forward to each year. Skirball has always been known for showcasing emerging talents and established artists from Los Angeles and around the globe. The bands they book represent different lands and cultures, always bringing the party with their vivid selection of sounds. To top it all off, the concerts are in Skirball’s gorgeous outdoor courtyard, and are FREE for all to attend.

The Skirball Cultural Center is located at 2701 N. Sepulveda Blvd. Sunset Concerts take place Thursday evenings, July 18-August 22, 8:00 p.m. DJ sets will kick off each concerts starting at 6:30 p.m.
Check-in and FREE admission to the Museum and Skirball campus begin at 5:30 p.m. Doors to the concert venue open at 6:30 p.m.
Parking: $15 per car (cash only)
Carpooling is encouraged. Street parking is strictly prohibited.

All Skirball exhibitions (except Noah’s Ark) are free and open until 10:00 p.m. during Sunset Concerts, Fearless Fashion: Rudi Gernreich and Black Is Beautiful: The Photography of Kwame Brathwaite. Both are currently on view through September 1. Audrey’s Museum Store is open until 8:00 p.m.
Grab-and-go light fare, full bar service, and specialty food items will be available for happy hour and throughout the show. Guests may bring their own food. Note: No outside alcoholic beverages or chairs are permitted.
