Following her debut LP, Love Made Me Do It, that dropped earlier this year in September, multi-faceted artist Kat Von D has shared her new EP, Exorcisms. Taking one of her leading album singles, “Exorcism,” Von D collaborates with various artists to re-work the song in four different ways.

Featuring artists Gunship, Cold Cave, Scratch Massive, and Kraftwerk’s Henning Schmitz aka n.e.o., the already haunting single shape shifts throughout the EP to capture the song’s angst and intensity from different angles, whether it be through upping or slowing down the tempo. Each single is heavily laced with a prominent synth sound and echoey vocals.
Her EP comes before another music drop happening later this month when Von D will share additional remixes of her song on a Deluxe Remix EP. Set to be released on Nov. 30, the remixes coincide with Von D’s global live stream event ‘The Love Made Me Do It Experience!’, in partnership with Moment House. The event will showcase Von D and her full band performing a cinematic live show of songs from her debut album. It will also include an intimate performance at Von D’s house, a virtual after party and virtual, private 1-minute meet and greet. Tickets for the Nov. 30 live stream can be found here.
Von D’s debut album features goth and alternative influences with heavy synth and strong emotions and also features collaborations with Dave Grohl, Linda Perry, Dave Sitek (TV On The Radio), Peter Murphy (Bauhaus), Danny Lohner (Nine Inch Nails), Ladyhawke and Charo.
