Beloved indie darlings, Belle and Sebastian have returned with new tour dates including a Los Angeles headline date at the Greek Theatre on June 4, 2022. Belle and Sebastian are touring in support of their first new album in seven years, A Bit of Previous, out May 6th on Matador. Los Angeles fans can catch Belle and Sebastian at their aforementioned Greek Theatre LA date, or at nearby venues: Pappy & Harriet’s in Joshua Tree (June 5) and the Greek Theatre in Berkeley (June 3) with many more U.S. and world tour dates announced. To celebrate the news, Belle and Sebastian have shared a new video for the first single off the album — stream “Unnecessary Drama” below.

“The song is about a young person experimenting in being a human again after a forced hiatus”, says frontman Stuart Murdoch. “The person is weighing up whether or not it’s worth the mess! Still, you dip your toe in and it becomes delicious, and you get too much of it. Between trouble and nothing, we still choose the trouble.”
