* UPDATE: Morrissey has yet to release an official statement, but he did share via his Instagram:

“Thank you for coming out last night, LA. We love you and are grateful for your support. Please stand by for further announcements coming shortly.

* This is a developing story and will be updated as needed.

In classic Morrissey fashion, Morrissey walked off stage at the Greek Theatre LA after a handful of songs, leaving fans who had braved the Greek Theatre traffic out in the cold.

Fans alleged that Morrissey started his set about 30 minutes late, only to perform 5 songs before walking off stage. According to, Morrissey performed 9 songs. See the set list below.

Unsurprisingly, the show ended early “due to unforeseen circumstances…”

Despite being in the “freezing” cold and “shivering even wearing a big jacket” some fans like Rose, still enjoyed the show and thought “Morrissey was great.”

While other fans were disappointed and had regretted not using their better judgment because of Morrissey’s infamous track record.

In a time where concert ticket prices and service charges are absolutely inflated, it seems like quite the disservice to do this to your fans, especially in 40 to 50° temperatures in the hills. Perhaps Morissey should invest in a heated puffer jacket and some gloves.
