Kate Brunotts “BRIEFCASE!”
“BRIEFCASE!” is unlike what listeners might expect from Brunotts, continuing a trend that started with recent singles such as “FIMFM” and “Scorch the Road.” Inspired by bloghouse artists, including but not limited to The Hellp, the glitchy rhythm and strut-ready beat is the sort of combination that makes for an infectious track. Cain Culto feat. Sudan Archives “KFC Santería”
While the original was already a punchy deconstruction on the corporatization of organized religion, Sudan Archives’ inclusion, as well as added lyrics from Cain, makes the song an unflinching dismantling of current events.
