Final Girl Records and Kitten Robot Records have partnered to host a monthly residency in at Gold-Diggers in East Hollywood. Last week’s show featured flutist and climate activist NOAMZ, the genre-blending dance music of TwoLips and her life partner/collaborator Lightfoot, and the psych/shoegaze band Tombstones In Their Eyes.

The first residency night was a truly diverse event showcasing incredible L.A.-based artists perfomring music from various genres and styles. Classical flute performances, expressions of female rage, and family-style indie rock came together to brighten up a rainy Wednesday night in March.

NOAMZ opened the night with an electrifying performance, playing songs from her Pandora’s Box EP and a few favorites, including “Unlovable” and “Anxiety.” She effortlessly switched between playing the flute and guitar and even sprinkled some French language into her performance. The crowd was utterly captivated as she poured her heart into powerful breakup songs and wowed everyone by beatboxing on the flute.
