san fermin

The baroque-pop band, San Fermin (pronounced SAN fur-MEEN) has just released a debut self-titled album last month. Just two years ago, the man behind the spectacles and the composer of the band, Ellis Ludwig-Leon graduated from Yale University with a major in classical music. Within six weeks of graduating he had come up with the band’s debut album, releasing the single “Sonsick”. With the help of vocals from Jess Wolfe and Holly Laessig, the band mixes classical music using french horns and modernizes it into a poppy feel. Join them at the Echo on Tuesday, October 15 with supporting acts Tall Tales and the Silver Lining and Western Lows.

Tickets are $8 – $10, doors open at 8:30 PM, and the event is 18 and over. You can win a pair of tickets by entering the contest below, courtesy of the Echo and Grimy Goods!
