You’ve probably heard the buzz around Iggy Pop and Queen’s of the Stone Age’s Josh Homme working together on Iggy’s new album, Post Pop Depression. Today Iggy Pop has announced a limited run of Post Pop Depression tour dates with a Los Angeles date scheduled on Thursday, April 28th at the Greek Theatre!
The Post Pop Depression tour will mark the one-time only occasion that the album lineup of Iggy Pop, Joshua Homme (Queen’s of the Stone Age), Dean Fertita (Queen’s of the Stone Age, Dead Weather), Matt Helders (Arctic Monkeys), Troy Van Leeuwen (Queen’s of the Stone Age) and Matt Sweeney (journeyman). Together, the six-piece ensemble will perform Post Pop Depression material, as well as those grimy and gritty Iggy classics we all know and love.
Tickets to Iggy Pop’s Post Pop Depression tour date at the Greek Theatre are priced at $49.50 — $125.00 and will go on sale to the general public on Saturday, January 30 at 10AM. There will be a Fan Presale beginning at 10AM on Thursday, January 28, followed by a Live Nation presale on Friday, January 29 at 10AM. Tickets for the European leg will be on sale beginning January 29.
