Richard Melville Hall also known as Moby has lined up three sold-out shows at The Echo. The show included material from his new album Everything Was Beautiful, And Nothing Hurt and good old timeless songs that we all enjoy.
Filled with wit and charm, and accompanied by a five piece band, Moby went back and fourth with re-written selections and fresh songs that mesmerized the crowd. Handling the guitar masterfully and with enchanting vocals. He shared how “Go” was written 27 years ago after 3 years of becoming vegan, he recounted how he and Jimmy Hendrix share that both have one top single in the charts and dedicated “We Are All Made of Stars” to the recently passed genious Stephen Hawkins.
Moby chose not to leave and get an encore but to continue playing for the audience. Instead of closing out the night with a hit, the living legend suggested that they played the last song “we sing it together and then go home and watch Netflix” ending with “Almost Home.” The show exceeded all expectations from beginning to end.
If you got a ticket for tonight’s or Friday’s shows, you are in for a treat.
