In case you’re thinking of something to do this weekend, look no further! One of our favorites – The National – are taking the Santa Barbara Bowl stage this next Saturday, Sept. 22. This show will immediately follow The National’s two-night stint at the Hollywood Palladium, Thursday, Sept. 20 and Friday, Sept. 21.
Their latest record, Sleep Well Beast, has taken them to new heights since its 2017 release and earned them their first ever Grammy award for Best Alternative Album.
The well-acclimated band will have direct support on the two Hollywood shows as well as Saturday’s from LA’s own Phoebe Bridgers. The 24-year-old musician has gained widespread critical acclaim herself with her debut record Stranger In The Alps, which released last September. A year later and she’s found herself sharing a stage with popular acts such as Conor Oberst, Bon Iver, Julien Baker and now The National.
There are still plenty of tickets available for this intimate shows. You’d be silly to miss your chance to catch this bound to be night of beautiful music under the stars at the beautiful Santa Barbara Bowl or in the glitz of the Hollywood Palladium. Take your pick:
