TWILIGHT ON THE PIER
Free shows at the Santa Monica Pier are back! While it won’t be the same as the days when Khalid almost broke the pier, it will be the same fun! The lineup is amazing and full of culture. In partnership with KCRW, you know it’s gonna be good! Best of all, it’s at the historic Santa Monica Pier! Make and entire day of it! Beach + rides + music = YASSSS!

SATURDAYS OFF THE 405
The gorgeous Getty is back with its annual free summer concerts series, Saturdays off the 405. While this series focuses more on indie acts, as opposed to global music (unlike Levitt, Skirball, etc.), it’s still one of our favorites; especially if you love discovering lesser-known independent bands and singers. Pair the lineup with the stunning architecture, gardens and exhibits of the Getty Center, and you have yourself a must-attend series!
Saturday’s off the 405 runs through runs through Sept. 14.
ABBOT KINNEY FESTIVAL
The 35th Annual Abbot Kinney Festival takes place Sunday, September 29, 2019 from 10 am – 6 pm. This hip stretch of arts shops and restaurants is definitely one of the coolest places to stroll in the U.S. There will be 350 quality vendors, top food trucks and booths, kids’ rides and games, 4 music stages, including KidsQuad stage and 3 beer gardens!
HERMOSA BEACH SUMMER SERIES
The final weekend of the Hermosa Beach Summer Series is this weekend, Saturday, Aug. 24 and Sunday, Aug. 25. Catch Mariachi El Bronx, Trapdoor Social, The White Buffalo and more! In addition to music, there will be comedians, food trucks, South Bay Bew Ha Ha craft beer tastings, health & wellness activities, beach clean-ups, movies on the beach and much, much more.

Packed with almost 150 acts, the 2019 Levitt Pavilion summer concerts will kick off its highly anticipated 2019 summer concert season on Saturday, June 9! The concert season will run all the way through September 2!
MARINA DEL REY SUMMER CONCERTS
The Marina del Rey free summer concert series offers more than just music, you also get that cool California coastal breeze! Set in Burton Chace Park, the stage is surrounded on three sides by the water. The Marina Del Rey summer concert series features pop, alt-rock, indie, folk, classical and opera.
SUMMER VIBES CONCERT SERIES
A concert series at The Pasadena Pavilion for Performing Arts in Memorial Park, you can still catch their final two free shows! Taking place Aug. 24 (Women of Rock & Blues featuring Trends, Adjenai, & Kira Alexi) and Aug. 31 ( Around The World featuring Kairvina, The LACM Vocal Ensemble, & Little Brazil Trio) — bring the whole fam for this family-friendly event.
ONE COLORADO THURSDAY & SATURDAY NIGHT MUSIC SERIES
One Colorado in Old Town Pasadena has been going off all summer long with the free summer concerts. This one is great for the little ones. There’s a lot of space in the courtyard for them to run around. As you can see in the above photo, baby Grimy Goods is a regular. They have 3 more shows to attend: Aug. 24 with Ethio Cali, Aug. 29 with Chris Joyner and Aug. 31 with Hamish Anderson. Come early and grab a drink at the pop-up bar, or settle in for dinner at one of the Courtyard restaurant patios with great views of the stage.
DOWNTOWN LONG BEACH BUSKER FEST
A long time favorite, the Downtown Long Beach Busker Fest will take place Sept. 7 in the East Village Arts District1st & Linden Ave Long Beach. Hosted by KCRW’s Raul Campos, Buskerfest is built around bringing music and music lovers to the streets of Downtown’s East Village for an evening of song, great food, flowing beer & community. 4 stages! Headliner TBA!
