LEVITT PAVILION 50 FREE CONCERTS
Do you feel that? That’s the sound of free summer concerts in Los Angeles calling your name! Levitt Pavilion Los Angeles has announced its 2018 Summer Concert Series Lineup! Packed with almost 150 acts, the 2018 Levitt Pavilion summer concerts will kick off its highly anticipated 2018 summer concert season on Saturday, June 9! The concert season will run all the way through September 2!

PERSHING SQUARE DOWNTOWN STAGE
Celebrating a decade of free summer concerts in Los Angeles, the Pershing Square Downtown Stage is another favorite of ours. This year’s summer concerts series will kick off July 11 and run all the way through August 18. Bonus! It’s more than just the Downtown Stage — from the Mobile Youth Summer Splash Day to the Salsa Festival, Friday Night Movies, LA Goes Country, Vegan Festival, I Love LA Fest, Junity, and Wednesday’s Farmers Market — it’s no surprise Pershing Square is i our top 5 when it comes to free summer concerts in LA.

SKIRBALL SUNSET CONCERTS
Back for its 22nd year, the Skirball Cultural Center will kick off its Sunset Concerts Series on July 26 with Goapele! There’s a reason why Skirball’s Sunset Concerts Series is one of the best free summer concert series in Los Angeles; the location is gorgeous, tasty food and drink selections, there’s always a very cool art exhibit to visit, and last but certainly not least — THE MUSIC! Skirball Cultural Center always delivers a bangin’ Sunset Concerts Series lineup full of impressive acts spanning the globe.

Shine on this summer with Grand Performances sweet selection of free summer concerts in Los Angeles! Located in the heart of Downtown Los Angeles, Grand Performances takes place at the outdoor California Plaza. This year you can look forward to a unique variety of acts spanning global genres.

KCRW SUMMER NIGHTS AT HAMMER MUSEUM
In partnership with the Hammer Museum, KCRW is back with three nights of live music and DJ sets as part of KCRW’s Summer Nights series! This segment of free summer concerts in LA takes place Thursdays, July 12, 19, and 26. Only bummer about this one, is it’s only three nights! Best not to miss out!

FIGAT7TH (FIG FEST AND CITY BEATS)
Kicking off a summer of free concerts in Los Angeles, Downtown LA’s premier shopping destination, FIGat7th comes in sizzling hot with a variety of performances this summer. With FIGat7th, you get more than just one free summer concerts series, you get two, and then some! Catch Wavves close up Friday nights at Fig Fest, or get your South American rhythms on with Quitapenas. Plenty of live music to be seen and heard at Figat7th and running all summer long!

SATURDAYS OFF THE 405
The gorgeous Getty is back with its annual free summer concerts series, Saturdays off the 405. While this series focuses more on indie acts, as opposed to global music (unlike Levitt, Skirball, etc.), it’s still one of our favorites; especially if you love discovering lesser-known independent bands and singers. Pair the lineup with the stunning architecture, gardens and exhibits of the Getty Center, and you have yourself a must-attend series!

SUMMER MUSIC AT LACMA
Location, location, location! Right up there with The Getty, Skirball and Twilight Concerts — LACMA’s free summer concerts in Los Angeles offer a most beautiful location. I mean, who doesn’t want to see a live band in front of LACMA’a iconic Urban Light(s). Featuring classical, jazz, Latin and new music — summer concerts at LACMA are free if you’re savy. Become a member to access free entry or arrive After 3 pm, Mon-Fri (LA County residents only). As always, most shows are free to those 17 and under.

MARINA DEL REY SUMMER CONCERTS
The Marina del Rey free summer concert series offers more than just music, you also get that cool California coastal breeze! Set in Burton Chace Park, the stage is surrounded on three sides by the water. The Marina Del Rey summer concert series features pop, alt-rock, indie, folk, classical and opera.

- TWILIGHT CONCERTS SERIES – one of our favorites, but after Khalid’s massive crowd last year, we’re not exactly sure the status of this series.
