Los Angeles’ beloved songbird, Lauren Ruth Ward has announced a farewell show at the Teragram Ballroom for Thursday, August 19, 2021. Joining Lauren Ruth Ward at the Teragram Ballroom will be another favorite local act, Kingsbury, as well as Lauren Ruth Ward collaborator, Alicia Blue. Without a doubt, it’s going to be a women-led vocal powerhouse of a night featuring new LRW songs. The evening will feature new songs from LRW’s forthcoming album, as well as songs from her other musical project, Aging Actress — along with a debut performance from her new band Heaven Electric! Expect all the good vibes that vibrate through all of Ward’s shows.
Tickets to Lauren Ruth Ward and friends at Teragram are priced at $18 and the show is all-ages. Get them while you can, this show will sell out! On sale now!
So, why a farewell show? It’s not exactly a “farewell,” but more so a “see you much later.” Lauren Ruth Ward shared on her Instagram “this is the last LRW band show in the US for a looooooong time! let’s rage!” It looks like LRW will be focusing on her new band Heaven Electric with Andrew Berkeley Martin, formerly of Moonhoney. Martin also is a touring musician for Palaye Royale and the touring guitarist of Ashton Irwin. Heaven Electric also have an upcoming gig at the Tree Fort music festival this September.
