This year the Grimy Goods crew reviewed a lot of amazing debut albums as well as checked out many of these hot acts live. If this is what they brought to our ears on the first try, I’m sure these new bands will have a whole lot more to offer in the years to come (so long as they don’t get stuck in the sophomore slump). After collecting lists from a few of our contributors (Lori Bartlett, Matt Draper, Wei Shi and myself), we came up with a list of some exceptional debuts full-lengths. As always, we can’t throw everyone on the list, but we did manage to select 20 of the best debut albums of 2010. We also made a mixtape for you guys to download and enjoy. It features songs from each of the artists on our Best Debut Albums of 2010 list below!
