
Rocktober continues in Los Angeles with no shortage of incredible concerts. From five nights with My Chemical Romance at the KIA Forum to two nights with the magical Florence + The Machine at the Hollywood Bowl; and small gigs featuring Jensen McRae at the Troubadour or Luni Li at The Echo, you have so much to choose from when it comes to concerts in Los Angeles this week. Check out below our selections for the best concerts in Los Angeles for the week of Oct. 10 through Oct. 16.
Oct. 11 & 12 — TR/ST at Masonic Lodge
TR/ST, the shapeshifting darkwave project of Robert Alfons returns to Los Angeles with two headline concert dates at the Masonic Lodge at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery Oct. 11 & 12, 2022. TR/ST just released a new track titled “Shore.” Dark and delicious (per usual), the new song slowly kisses your soul with wanting suspense, before you know it, the darkwave disco has exploded on the dance floor.
Ticket to TR/ST at Masonic Lodge are sold-out but there are resale option available.
In addition to TR/ST’s LA dates the artist also has show at the Observatory in Santa Ana for Sunday, Oct. 30; as well as an Observatory North Park (San Diego) tour date for Friday, Oct. 28.
Oct. 11 — Action Bronson at The Novo
Action Bronson is a must-see live for any hip hop lover and beyond. The man radiates on stage with an incredible energy. His stage presence and charm makes you wish you could just hang out with the dude. Touring in support of his new album Cocodrillo Turbo, out now via Loma Vista Recordings — expect to see a new Action Bronson on stage as the music artist is stronger than ever and in legit fighting form. If you follow along at his Instagram, you know what’s up.
Opening for Action Bronson at The Novo is Meyhem Lauren. Tickets are priced at $34.50.
Oct. 12 — Jaws of Love at Silverlake Lounge
Jaws of Love., the solo project of Colombian-American recording artist Kelcey Ayer, also the co-lead vocalist of L.A.’s beloved Local Natives, return for another blissful Wednesday night at the Silverlake Lounge as part of his October residency. The evening will feature performances by supporting acts: Trace, LLIIKKEEAAGGHHOOSSTT and Don T Murder (dj set). This event is FREE to attend and 21 and up!
Second Life the new album from Jaws of Love and it is out November 11, but get it taste for on Oct. 12 and every Wednesday this October.

Oct. 13 — Jhené Aiko at The Greek Theatre
Jhené Aiko has scheduled a headlining Los Angeles concert date at the Greek Theatre Los Angeles for Thursday, Oct. 13. A six-time Grammy nominee singer and songwriter and soon-to-be mother, Jhené Aiko has been keeping busy! The talented singer and business woman just launched her new label venture ALLEL Sound, a Def Jam Recordings imprint. She recently signed her first talent, August 08 and is featured on his track “Water Sign.” Stream below.

Oct. 13 — Songbirds Fall Fest at The East Angel
Song Bird Sessions brings a sweet celebration of music on Thursday, Oct. 13 in honor of their three-year anniversary. Taking place at The East Angel in Downtown Los Angeles, the event will kick off at 6:30pm and run until 11:30pm. The lineup features hip hop artist, Daisha McBride; producer/songwriter TOMI; electro-pop vocalist and producer Maiah Manser, and indie rocker Gothic Tropic. There’s also a separate stage with DJs: IdealBlackFemale, Joyeur, and Bella Ferrada. In addition the lineup of sounds, attendees can enjoy signature cocktails, and tacos.
Tickets are priced at $28.33 and the event is 21 and up.
Oct. 14 & 15 — Florence + The Machine at Hollywood Bowl
Florence and the Machine at the Hollywood Bowl will undoubtedly be one of the best shows in Los Angeles of 2022. We recently caught the magical being that is Florence Welch at the Los Angeles Theater and it was a glorious night of music, art and magic. Touring in support of her fifth studio album, Dance Fever, prepare to be swept away with emotive tracks like “King” and “Daffodil,” while burning up the Bowl floor with dance-worthy tracks “My Love,” “Free” and “Heaven Is Here” — along with a variety of fan favorites. These back-to-back Florence + The Machine shows will be unforgettable. DO NOT MISS OUT! Honestly, we can’t stress it enough.
Opening up for Florence + The Machine on Oct. 14 is Griff and Hope Tala; With Wet Leg and Hope Tala on the 15th. Tickets are priced at $40 – $196.
