Oct. 24 — GWAR at The Belasco

Who’s ready or blood? If you’ve never been to a GWAR show, you might want to do you research. And please don’t wear any clothing of value. It’s pretty much ALWAYS Halloween with GWAR. Supporting GWAR are Sacred Reich, Toxic Holocaust, and Against The Grain.

Oct. 25–31– PSYCHO in Concert at the Theatre at Ace Hotel

Now this is just going to be straight up dope. It’s no wonder PSYCHO in Concert at the Ace takes place multiple days (Oct. 25, 26, 27, 30) so everyone can get their dose of Halloween PYSCHO. Watch Hitchcock’s masterpiece on the big screen while the LA Opera Orchestra delivers a chilling live score.

Oct. 25–Nov. 2 — CINEMA PHANTASMAGORIA at Million Dollar Theatre

The Halloween flicks are non-stop this October in Los Angeles, and one of our favorite places to see a Halloween movie this season is CINEMA PHANTASMAGORIA! Running Oct. 25 through Nov. 2 and brought to you by Street Food Cinema, step into a mysterious 1920’s movie palace where time stands still. Eat, drink, and be spooky: Shuan of the Dead, Beetlejuice, The Conjuring, Sleepy Hollow, and The Nightmare Before Christmas.

Oct. 25 — Late Night! Stanley Kubrick at The Skirball

Prefer your creepy Halloween with a chill vibe? The Skirball Cultural Center is hosting an outdoor screening of Stanley Kubrick’s The Shining! Also, the exhibition Through a Different Lens: Stanley Kubrick Photographs will be open for viewing from 6-10pm!  DJ, food trucks, and a cash bar!

Oct. 25 — Old Pasadena Day of the Dead Celebration

The Growlers’ annual Beach Goth is always the place to be in when Halloween rolls around. This year Beach Goth will take place on Halloween night as well as the following night, Nov. 1 at its new location the Hollywood Palladium! The lineup is a surprise and if you’ve ever been to a Beach Goth, you know their performance selections are always the best.

Oct. 31 — Oingo Boingo at The Saban

The former members of Oingo Boingo are bringin’ the Dead Man’s Party back to life on none other than Halloween Night. Original ‘80s and ‘90s era Oingo Boingo members Johnny “Vatos” Hernandez, Sam “Sluggo” Phipps, Carl Graves, and on occasion Steve Bartek, John Avila, and Doug Legacy are joined by Brendan McCreary (vocals), Mike Glendinning (guitar), Freddy Hernandez (bass), Brian Swartz (trumpet), and Felice Hernandez (backing vocals) to form Oingo Boingo Dance Party.

Located in a charming Craftsman House in Downtown, Pasadena — you’ll find the cozy-cool Magnolia House. This place slings delicious craft cocktails on the daily, quality coffee (get the Nitro Cold Brew!) and delicious eats! I’d be lying if I wasn’t a bit biased here, considering our lil fam goes to Mag House at least once a week. But what can I say, it’s a dope spot. In celebration of All Hallows Eve, Magnolia House is hosting their annual Halloween party — no cover! Costume contest with prizes, spooky tunes by PRISM djs and plenty of ghastly libations.
