Due to overwhelming demand, Cruel World fest has added a second day at Brookside at the Rose Bowl for Sunday, May 15. If you didn’t score tickets for Cruel World’s May 14 date, here’s your second chance to get in on all the post-punk gothy action. Register now to access the presale that begins Wednesday, June 30 at noon PT. Once registered, a presale password will be sent to you about an hour before the presale begins.
The 2022 Cruel World line up includes iconic greats such as: Morrissey, Bauhaus, Blondie, DEVO, Echo and The Bunnymen, The Psychedelic Furs, The Church, Public Image LTD, The Damned and more; as well ass influential first-wave modern bands like Cold Cave, TR/ST, Drab Majesty, Soft Kill, Automatic and more (click on each band’s hyperlink to see past Grimy Goods coverage). Thankfully, Cruel World fest is scheduled for May when the weather in Pasadena is still nice and cool with ideal Southern California temps (because goths in heat are always a sad scene).

Ticket prices to Cruel World Fest are as follows:
General Admission: $159-$179 + fees
VIP: $349 + fees
Clubhouse: $549 + fees
Clubhouse Platinum: $799 + fees
Fans can take part in a payment plant for their Cruel World tickets starting with $29.99 down at checkout. From there, divide the remaining balance over equal payments every month. There’s also a 50/50 option where festival attendees can 50% down at checkout, then the remaining 50% one month later.
