As we previously reported, it looks like the rumors are true. Coachella 2020 has been officially been postponed until October due to the Corona Virus / COVID-19 outbreak. Hopefully, the new Coachella dates will take place Oct. 9, 10, and 11, and October 16, 17 and 18, 2020. Stagecoach will now take place Oct. 23, 24 and 25, 2020. All purchased Coachella tickets will be honored for the new October dates. Attendees who can no longer make the new dates will be notified by Friday, March 13 on how to obtain a refund.
The first major music event to go was SXSW when they official announced their 2020 cancelation. It was the first in 34 years. Now joining the list of music festivals and conferences is Coachella (postponed).
So yea, whether you LOVE it or HATE it, Coachella 2020 ain’t happening this April.
Coachella is the Disneyland of music festivals. With Coachella postponing their annual festival due to Corona Virus, we can only assume all other major music festivals such as Bonnaroo Music Festival, Lollapalooza, Glastonbury and Burning Man will follow en suite.
